Prewar Elgin Miss America Bike Wsw Floating HubUp for auction is a vintage pre-war 26 elgin miss america bicycle. I picked this bike up from an estate sale and the gentleman told me it was a 1939, but i am not sure. It has a very cool and very rare stewart warner floating hub, the wheel turns and the discs outside of the wheel do not turn. This bike is missing some parts such as the kickstand, tank, headlight and taillight.
Handlebars and seat are not original. Fork might be a little sprung, the fender is rubbign the frame, see pics. Also has a small screw hole drilled in one side of the rack. At this moment bike is rideable, tires are holding air though they are a little weatherchecked.
Hard and rare bike to find in this condition, don't miss out. Starting price is a lwo investment for this kind of bike. Bike will be dissassembled for shipping.
