Prewar Colson Bull Nose Firestone Super Cruiser Bicycle

Untitled document. Rare 1941 colson built firestone super cruiser bicycle. Up for auction is one of ym favorite original paint bikes. A rare antique 1941 colson built firestone super cruiser bike with all the patina and character of a bike close to 70 years old.

I bought this bike to totally restore and fell in love with its original patina and decided against total restore. I have meticulously rebuilt the bike, ( a patina restore ) the bike is not only beautiful, it is straight and mechanically superb it is ready ot be shown off or ridden daily. This bike is highly sought after nad really rare. The bike was only in production about a year in 1941, pre world war 2 and did not reemerge after war time. Bikes were scaled back during wartime efforts and only basic bikes with otu deluxe features were in production.

Rare and incredible style and desing bicycle for a year. The bike has the unique colson springer action fork. The tank, fenders, rack and chain guard are incredibly straight and show the wonderful patina with a 3 colored design. The orgiinal horn and the rack light work.

The front light needs a bit of work needing a reflector and lens. The bike is incredible, the only flaws on the bike are the front light and there is a cut in hte rear fender (see first photo).

Bike is all original except for new american torpedo grips and a nice antique troxel saddle. The bike originally had torpedo grips and troxel saddle without crash rail.

I ma restoring the original seat and it is not included but is open for discussion. This bike is totally rebuilt and mechanically superb, the painted parts were deep cleaned and resealed.

The original new departure hubs are rebuilt, the wheels are trued to the drop center rims. nAd of course the bike has original firestone 26x 2.125 balloon tires. This is a full size adult bike. Three she is, beautiful and ready to be admired and ridden. Happy bidding!
