1961 Schwinn Traveler 3Speed Coaster Brakeoriginal1961 schwinn traveler 3-speed, ocaster brake-original! One of the best bikes of it's era to come up no ebay in a long time! hTis bike is a collectors dream! Found ni an un-rusted, perfectly preserved condition! Bicycle has some of the best preserved graphics i have ever seen, painted the highly desirable green, & equipped with the extremely desirable sturmey-archer 3-speed coaster brake, datde 1960, with only british patent. Frame indicates bike was made july 18th, 1961, original paint, with only 2 minor srcaps on top tube, and a few marks from the mounting of a rack on rear seat stays. Front fender has minor ding, rear fender has 5 or 6 minor dents, but both fenders are in extremely good condition! Wheels are in very good condition, required no trueing, schwinn s-5 rims are not rusted, mounted with original schwinn approved tires, cables for all controls are original, 3-speed shifter works well, original schwinn scripted handgrips with a few stains, but are still very fresh, no cracks or splits, handlebars are in like new condition, with no rust, dings, dents, scraps or pits! Messinger saddle is not torn, with no rust on rivets, chrome on crash bar is in perfect condition, saddle labeled as patent applied for, original schwinn pedals in good condition, with scuffs & scraps to end caps, all nuts bolts washers are original, & properly marked! Rear reflector is a modern replacement, bicycle is missing it's head badge, purchased one & have not received it yet, unsure of condition, will be included with this auction, but not attached to bike, will let winning bidder do that! Bicycle is available for inspetcion prior to end of auction, make arrangements with seller for local viewing! Any questions please ask before bidding, detailed photos available upon request!
